Along the Rosedale East railway
Took a walk along the disused railway line at Rosedale East this week. Exciting to hear and then see, a pair of Curlews back on the moor. I just love the sound of them, their ascending calls drift hauntingly through the valley.
No sign of frog spawn yet but I'm sure there will be some by the end of the month. Wheatears and Ring Ouzels will add excitement soon too. Witnessing the development of Spring each year is a real joy.
Busy times ahead, as bookings for bushcraft sessions and other activites are coming in for Spring and Summer days.
