Wild Country Walks

Wild Country Walkabouts can lead individuals and small groups on wild country walks through the North York Moors National Park and along the North Yorkshire Coast. For the inexperienced this could be an opportunity to focus on aspects of navigation, using map and compass. Walks can be half day, full day or extended multi-day ones. (We can provide you with details of a wide range of accommodation providers, from camping to shepherds huts, to B & Bs and hotels).

Family/Group Challenge Walks

Wild Country Walkabouts can devise a challenge walk to suit your family or group. Walk a while then complete a fun challenge. Walk a bit more, then another challenge. Challenges may test you physically, emotionally or intellectually. Friendly competition and co-operation keep you on your toes.

Wildlife Walks

Wild Country Walkabouts can lead individuals and small groups on walks through a variety of habitats  with a focus on their flora and fauna.  We can't guarantee what we see but we can provide opportunities for drawing and photography and help you develop your field craft.
